DX Engineering calls these a “bent pin shackle.” The Joslyn J732 is referred to elsewhere as a “heavy strain clevis fastener” or a “heavy strain insulator.”
My own were salvaged by a friend removing an old broadcast tower, and gifted to me 20 years ago. They have served well on several of my towers, including the Rohn 25 that is driven element for my K3LR-style 160-meter transmit array. They eliminate the need for 6 or more feet of steel EHS guy being attached to the tower and first insulator with Big Grips. The J732 is attached with insulator directly to the guy bracket on the tower.
These clevises are an elegant solution for many projects, and can be cost effective compared with the alternatives. I’ve also found them useful at the turnbuckle end of guy wires.
